I can't wait for Christmas...

Mostly because I can't wait for Katie to see all her loot! I have been doing my shopping early and it feel slike Christmas is forever away...

Wow, I really dropped the ball on this one huh?

Yikes. One post and I abandoned the blog. Well, maybe I will pick it back up now that we have a laptop and it's easier to watch Katie and be on the computer.

As everyone knows, Katie is very into princesses. It looks like Disney threw up in her room but it makes her happy. I have been trying to get all my Christmas shopping out of the way early and it is way too easy to buy a bunch of princess stuff. But I don't want everything to be princess related. Hopefully, Daddy can fill in the blanks with some kid tools or science stuff.

This weekend, we are starting our deck remodel. Our fabric gazebo died last week in some high winds so we decided to replace the deck and build a pergola. I know we will at least get the new deckboards laid this weekend but the pergola will take some time. Especially since Sean is home for about 3 minutes a week. I kid, I kid.

Only 9 more work days until my vacation. I haven't had a full week off since last February. Yikes. I'll have a total of 10 days off. Sean has to work but gets the weekend off so we can go to my family Thanksgiving in Abilene! I was not looking forward to driving 4 hours alone with Katie.

Hmmm..

Well, I am starting a blog. This way I can post pictures of Katie, kitchen remodel etc and anyone can come and look at it when they want.
